For pet owners accessing a live stream

These terms apply to pet owners and any other individuals who access a KennelCam live stream via a link shared by a kennel or animal care business.
KennelCam operates via kennels.cam.
1. What KennelCam Is
KennelCam is a live video streaming service used by dog kennels and animal care businesses to give pet owners secure, real-time access to camera feeds during their animal's stay.
Access to a stream is provided by the kennel or business where your pet is staying, not directly by KennelCam.
2. Accessing a Stream
To view a live stream, you will need:
- A unique link provided by your kennel
- A PIN issued by your kennel
Your link and PIN are personal to you. Please do not share them with anyone else. KennelCam is not responsible for any unauthorised access that results from you sharing your credentials.
Streams are accessible via any modern web browser on mobile or desktop. No app download is required.
3. What You Can and Cannot Do
You may use your stream access to:
- View the live camera feed during your pet's stay
- Check in on your animal for personal peace of mind
You must not:
- Record, screenshot, copy or distribute any video footage from the stream
- Share your access link or PIN with third parties
- Use the stream for any commercial or promotional purpose without the kennel's written permission
- Attempt to access any stream other than your own
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, probe or interfere with the streaming platform in any way
4. Availability
Stream access is provided on a best-efforts basis. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted access and are not liable for disruption caused by internet connectivity issues, scheduled maintenance, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Stream availability is also subject to the kennel's own operating hours and camera configuration. If you have questions about what is covered by the cameras or when access is available, please contact your kennel directly.
5. Privacy and the Cameras
The cameras on site are operated by the kennel, not by KennelCam. The kennel is responsible for ensuring their CCTV use complies with applicable law and for displaying appropriate notices on-site.
KennelCam does not store or review your personal viewing activity beyond what is technically necessary to deliver the service. Please see our Privacy Policy for more detail.
6. Limitation of Liability
KennelCam provides this viewing access as part of a service delivered to the kennel. To the extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of or inability to use the stream
- We are not liable for the actions or omissions of the kennel operating the cameras
- Our total liability to you in connection with stream access is limited to £100
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
7. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page will always reflect the latest version. Continued use of the stream access following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
