KennelCam is a customer viewing experience that participating boarding kennels can use to give pet owners private camera access during their pet’s stay.
Will I be able to see my pet all the time?+
Not necessarily. Your pet may move out of camera view, be out for exercise, be with kennel staff or be elsewhere in their accommodation. Viewing availability can also vary by kennel.
Can I view other cameras at the kennel?+
No. Your customer access is intended for the permitted camera associated with your pet’s stay, not the kennel’s wider camera system.
How do I get access?+
If your kennel offers KennelCam, they’ll provide the access information you need for your pet’s stay.
How long does my access last?+
Customer access is temporary and tied to the viewing period provided by your kennel. It ends rather than becoming permanent access to the kennel’s cameras.
Do I need to download an app?+
No. KennelCam opens in your web browser, so there’s no app to download or CCTV software to learn.
What if my pet isn’t on camera?+
That doesn’t necessarily mean anything is wrong. They may be exercising, with kennel staff, elsewhere in their accommodation or simply outside the camera’s view.
Can I get KennelCam if my kennel doesn’t offer it?+
KennelCam is provided through participating kennels, so the kennel needs to offer the service. You can ask your kennel whether customer camera access is something they’d be interested in providing.
